Georgia Military College provides facilities and instructional support services for the library that are appropriate to GMC’s academic programs and that adequately support its educational mission.  Library facilities in Milledgeville include the 13,618 square foot Sibley Cone Library which is open for students 68 hours each week. The print collection of the library contains over 30,000 volumes with more than 28,000 individual titles. The full text electronic books available to the GMC student body, faculty and staff total an additional 48,000 titles. The total full text collection available for research and support is 76,000 volumes. The audio-visual collection includes 1,500 items in the Milledgeville library plus an additional 5200 titles of streaming educational video available online. The periodical collection includes over 25,000 titles, principally in electronic format. Access to library resources is not limited to on-campus since the GMC Electronic Library is available to students, faculty and staff twenty-four hours a day regardless of location.  Interlibrary Loan services are also available for any materials not held by the Sibley-Cone Library.
